After the screening \u017diva Kavka Gobbo (Focus) will talk to Ruwaida Amer, Palestinian fimmaker, journalist and teacher from Gaza. The films explore matters of living under occupation and in a time of genocide \u2013 from killing, famine and unfit living conditions to expropriation of land and threat to food sovereignty. The conversation will touch on the effects of Israeli systemic violence on Palestinian children and their everyday life. Special attention will be given to the teachers and all others who, despite impossible circumstances, labour to continue education, community and above all preserve hope of Palestinian children and contribute to alternative forms resistance.<\/p>\n
