Discussion with the author on the book The Modern Migration Theory by Peo Hansen, which reveals how mistaken and economically harmful it is to view certain groups of people solely as a cost or fiscal burden. The first part of the discussion will focus on the theoretical, economic, and legal frameworks, while the second part will present field experiences from Slovenia.
In addition to the author Peo Hansen from Linköping University, who will join us via video call, the discussion will feature Jure Gombač from ZRC SAZU, Ognjen Radivojević from Slovene Philanthropy, and Ana Samobor from Društvo Ključ.
The event is organized as part of the Festival of Migrant Film, in cooperation with Krtina Publishing House.

After the roundtable, you are invited to enjoy Middle Eastern sweets, view an exhibition of drawings by some of the most talented asylum seekers and Ukrainian children, and visit the stand of the No-Border Craft crocheting group.
