about the film

Amadou, a young man from Guinea, leaves his beloved Anna in Moscow, chasing the ‘European Dream’. But in Germany, life as a refugee is nothing like he imagined. Confronted with isolation and uncertainty, he wonders if the West truly holds the future he longs for. Meanwhile, Anna, both his partner and the film’s director, embarks on her own journey—to find him, to understand his struggle, and to capture a love story tested by distance, survival, and the search for belonging.
